2023 Professional Auditing Services - Request for Proposals (RFP)The Stege Sanitary District (DISTRICT) is soliciting proposals from qualified firms of certified public accountants to audit the financial statements for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2023, with the option of auditing the DISTRICT’s financial statements for up to four subsequent fiscal years. Audit firms expressing interest will be provided with a copy of a request for proposal (RFP).
Board of DirectorsThe District is governed by a five-member Board of Directors. Directors are elected from among the resident electors of the District and serve four year terms of office.
Ordinance CodeThe purpose of the Ordinance Code is to promulgate rules and regulations, consistent with applicable statutory provisions, with regard to the organization, operation and functioning of the District, the exercise of governmental powers granted to the District and the manner in which District services are to be provided to the District’s constituents.
Private Sewer Lateral (PSL) Replacement Loan ProgramThe Private Sewer Lateral (PSL) Replacement Loan Program is designed to encourage property owners to protect and preserve the environment by offering a no-interest deferred payment loan of up to $10,000 to replace PSLs. The PSL loans are offered on a “first-come, first-served” basis to the extent of available funding. Repayment of the loans will be over a period not to exceed ten (10) years…
BudgetThe District budget is adopted by the Board of Directors in June of each year and spans the following fiscal year from July 1 through June 30.
