The Stege Sanitary District was awarded the District Transparency Certificate of Excellence through the Special District Leadership Foundation in recognition of its outstanding efforts to promote transparency and good governance. By completing the District Transparency Certificate of Excellence Program, the Stege Sanitary District has proven its dedication to being fully transparent as well as open and accessible to the public to which it serves.
Stege Sanitary District is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, Stege Sanitary District
has a policy of providing an accessible website compatible with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) and
commercial screen reading software. All features of the website are coded to allow individuals with vision and
